Listing Description

Indigenous Affairs remains a national priority for the Australian Government. The Indigenous Affairs Group within PM&C is committed to improving the lives of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

We recognise that each community is unique. Our team includes people around Australia who are working closely with communities to make sure policies, programmes and services address these unique needs.

We support the Prime Minister and the Minister for Indigenous Affairs, Senator Nigel Scullion. The Prime Minister is also supported by the Prime Minister’s Indigenous Advisory Council.

We work to influence policy across the entire Australian Government. We also liaise closely with State and Territory governments to ensure that Indigenous programmes and services are aiming for united objectives.

About Catalyst Foundation

Catalyst Foundation is an inclusive, independent and charitable organisation seeking to improve the lives of all South Australians in the areas of Ageing, Disability, Lifestyle, Employment, Business and Learning. Also known and trusted in South Australia as Seniors Information Service, we changed the organisation’s name to Catalyst Foundation in 2016 to reflect the growth in our services, the communities we serve and to underline the value of making a difference through action.

Acknowledgement to Country

Catalyst Foundation acknowledges the Kaurna people as the Traditional Custodians of the country and their continuing connection to land, sea and community.
